Coverage

Coverage conversations grounded in your operations.

The right insurance discussion starts with what your organization does, who it serves, and what its agreements request. These are common areas to review; availability and terms depend on the specific risk and policy.

Coverage areas we review

General liability
Review liability arising from operations, premises, and activities, together with applicable terms and exclusions.
Directors & officers
Review management and governance liability for the organization and its leaders, subject to policy terms.
Employment practices
Discuss employment-related allegations and whether separate or combined coverage is appropriate. This is a distinct question from directors & officers coverage.
Professional liability
Review risks arising from counseling, advice, treatment, or other professional services, with the applicable services and insured people clearly identified.
Abuse & molestation
Compare the requested scope, limits, defense and indemnity terms, definitions, exclusions, and reporting provisions. Requirements vary, and so does policy wording.
Auto liability
Discuss owned vehicles, hired vehicles, staff and volunteer vehicle use, and client transportation. Organizational and individual driver coverage are different questions.
Property and interruption
Review premises, equipment, materials, and operational interruption needs against policy terms.
Cyber
Discuss information handling, records, systems, response needs, and contractual requirements.

Workers' compensation, crime, umbrella/excess, and volunteer accident coverage come up when relevant to operations and available market routes. None of these topics is automatically included in a MissionShield engagement; each is reviewed on its own.

Start with what your organization does.
